as far as i know there is. i think aaron and josh are doing a ride tomorrow morning that is open to everyone (i can't make it being that i have class then), but as far as i'm aware there will STILL be the normal thursday night ride leaving from the christian science center tomorrow night. the only question is are we keeping it at 10PM or moving it up to 8PM. either way, atleast, i'll be there regardless of the time.

don't know if i'll be able to make it tomorrow night but...THURSDAY NIGHT RIDES @ 8pm FROM NOW ON! that seems to be the consensus, no?
kuje, you should get someone going on the ride to PM you their number so you can call them to meet up if you're interested in riding tomorrow night.

If I'm not working, I'll be out for the night ride. Very iffy right now.

no matter, hopefully the normaly thursday night rides will be in full effect tomorrow.
Yeah, sorry about the scheduling, joshua and I have breaks at strange times throughout the day. It just happens that we have a lab from 8-10am tomorrow and then a 3hr break before more class. I would be interested in doing a morning ride in the future though. Probably not before 8am...i mean, i like the morning and stuff but...

As for the meeting location for tomorrow's [morning 10-12] ride, directly across from mass art (between longwood and ruggles) on huntington, there's a brass leopard with large testicles.

Bikes: fixed, zebra-striped zebrakenko lightning; two (nearly identical) 1980 trek 4xx road bikes; newish brompton s-type; one or two inconsequentials

i'll be there tonight (at 8, i guess?)

also i think i heard someone (i forget who) on one of the rides last week say they needed to use a headset press -- are you still looking? if so, i just got one.. it's definitely the most sinister-looking bike tool i've picked up so far (park hhp-2).

I'm pretty sure that was Alice and didn't end up needing it, but it could be someone else too.

I'll race, probably on the lemond... but I suppose if it's fixed in time I might ride it, but doubt I'll find time for that...

Anyone selling a frame, track or road, 53-55cm seatpost. Removing my seatpost is a ****ing disaster and I don't think I can get it out by Saturday.

I've got an old road frame from my last conversion in the basement, it's smaller then 55 for sure but I'm not sure how small... I'll let you borrow it for the weekend for free, or if you want it you can have it for $25... it's a old Raliegh I don't now the year, size, or model, it's a mystery Craigslist buy... it's got everything but a rear brake, pedal, seatpost/saddle, and wheelset..

Anyone have suggestions for a new Crank under $140?

Bikes: 1980's (?) Specialized Sirrus Sport (converted to fixie)

Stronglight cranks go for about 150. I've been riding them for about a year now and they've done just fine.

last night's ride was pretty sweet. around 20 miles. followed by dumpster diving for pizza (which never really touched the dumpster; f*ck i HATE being lactose intolerant because it looked sooo good). the rain kinda seems to be letting up now, and i think it's supposed to be kinda cloudy and like 50 tomorrow.
