For those who are interested, I'd like to put in some high cadence miles Sunday. Serious miles is an exaggeration, btw. I'm thinking 40 miles.

ughhhh, so coming back from the dude abides pre-race party i had a miserable ride home.
first, a cab stop suddenly and for NO reason in front of me; i don't have time to react so i slam into the back of him. i'm ok, i get up, my bike is ok, and as i'm about to ride away the cabbie doesn't give me a "hey man, are you ok?" but a "YO! you hit my ******** cab, i'm gonna kill you now" and then tried to run me off the road so i went down a one-way street.
second, i was making a turn and caught some black ice (watch out, the pavement/asphalt is very slick in some areas) and went sliding on my side and wound up part way beneath an SUV. thankfully they didn't gun it when the light turned green.
third, as i'm getting up to ride on my front wheel comes out of the drop out. i try putting it back in but it's not really going (yes, i have the tools for it). so whatever, i just want to get home at this point so i ride back really slowly with the wheel barely secured in the drop outs and the side of it rubbing against the fork.
i'm in my room now trying to get the wheel back in, but either one of the nuts or the axel might be stripped. if i can't get this fixed by tomorrow there's a good chance i won't be racing. =/

yeah...i hate life and life hates me.
right now i really just want to sleep. and then get my wheel fixed (maybe get some rim tape) and then race and chill with people. no more flats, no more getting hit, no more black ice, just good riding.

Morgan, Thanks for the frame That **** was a ***** to set up That stem is a wierd size. Its like slightly smaller than 1 inch in diameter. The seat post diameter is 26.2. One of the last things I had to do was put the left pedal in and it was a *****. The first few threads were slightly stripped, but I just rubbed a file in there gently and that took care of it. I had to use the smaller gear. Looks like that is in the lower 40's, so I set it up with the 15t cog in the rear. The chain on there was fine so I left it on.
