**** hating on castle island... that place is so epic!

castle island was epic indeed, it's just the way things played out that was a bit..off:
"where should we ride to?"
"i don't know, somewhere away from the water, it's way too windy out"
"ok"
*five minutes later*
"oh, looks like we're on our way to castle island"
"hmm..."

Two Questions:

1) Do they plow Almay St (there's supposed to be some light snow tomorrow afternoon)?
2) Can mouths freeze to aluminum beercans when it is cold outside?

The can would have to be cold enough that the beer inside was already frozen. Not bleeding likely, but you can make it happen if you really want to.

Is the Blitz still on? If it is, I can definately make it, but I'll be a little late (wrestling match before hand so I won't be able to get down there till about 8:30 probably).

i don't even think the match sprints were done by 830 at the last one so you'll probably get there in plenty of time to blow up your tire again during the skids.

and no rescheduling of the blitz! if people can't make it, well then i suppose that just means we'll have to have another one soon.

btw...chilly is an understatement when describing last night.

also, i need a new spoke card for this weekend... i might not have time to make one, so if any of you have time hook up a design.

i'd love to whip something up for a spokecard! is there a formal name you're going with or just "2/10 allston/brighton scramble?" if you want to pm me any ideas you have and an email address i can send files to, i'll do it.

second of all, is anyone going to the converge show in cambridge the next day? i don't know if they're doing early ticket sales or if its all at the door, but i definitely want to go.

Riding out the causeway leaned over at about 30 degrees from vertical against the wind was pretty nifty.

What did you guys do tonight? Personally, I combine my two favorite things and carried two active monitors on my back while riding through some sweet gusts wind. Not to mention I got 150 bucks off of the whole deal. Best day ever.
