Hey tink, there was one trick we tried here in the office that worked. We throw drives like that in the freezer for about an hour and try to boot them up. It works about 50/50, enough time to grab everything off of it and onto another hard drive.

I would try it on a mac. That is m¥ default to everything. Also try to go out for a four margarita lunch,it is working for me.
