Leb dude, think you may have a design problem that a hack saw will not fix. What are you going to saw off?

Not knowing the entire ITM product line. It appears from what you wrote that you have a threaded fork & head set. Unless you mated a very small frame with a fork (with a steerer tube that is butted) barrowed from a bigger bike, there really should not be anything keeping you from inserting the stem properly. Try cleaning the inside of the steerer tube. If however, this is not the problem, PM or AIM.

I know I'll be too lazy to clean up my bike after riding in the wet tonight, so I've decided to skip on the shenaneghans tonight. I'll toss some century miles on the trainer instead. Unfortunately, the Richmond run's out too ... I already promised my friend in Baltimore that I'd fix her computer Saturday

CM in two weeks? Excited to see the flags come out.

Yes, it's a threaded stem.

I was thinking about cutting the bottom of the stem off, up to the minimum insertion point, so that it would sink deeper.

OK - When I get home from work tonight I will take your suggestion and clean out the inside of the steerer tube as much as possible. If that doesn't work, I'm going to post measurements and pictures to make this clearer and also try to figure out what's stopping the stem from entering all the way (butting or some obstruction). The steel stem and bike are both fuji, but I'm not the original owner so I don't know about past par recombinations

Thanks maties for your suggestions. I'm going to be at the next critical mass. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

oh my god jesse was too much fun last night.
what a man
what a man

and what i want to know, is how exactly you guys found out about my raggaeton band!?
i though i was playing it safe,, but no! you found me anyways.
*****

Alright so now i'm really excited.
I can't wait to see what this year's shirt is going to look like.

I was thinking maybe john could take the 4 finalists of what we choose, and then create a new poll thread with a heading that says something like "help the pirates choose their new T-shirt"

it would be good visibility and kinda fun to get the whole forum invovled.
Naturally we wouldn't have to go with what they decided,
but it would be interesting to hear suggestions from non-pirates.

deal or no deal?

What's the general pirate consensus regarding $20 conversions and DFL? I ain't sure I'm up for racing at the moment but I would like to meet some veloci-peeps.

Where's the actual track, 13th and Florida NW? That or 1st and N NW I'd guess.

dave, sure i think we may as well let people vote on all the design entries.

zack, DFL? its track racing not an alleycat. suicide hubs arent the best idea, we have no requirement for your bike to be fixed, except for the slow races.
