oh ****! I'm almost tempted to be late for work to witness this. Sadly, it'll probably be 930 before street makes it to dilworth from 42nd and parkside

"Subject: Keswick Bike Theives Caught!!!!

WE GOT THEM!!!!!!!!!!
At 6:30pm April 19th I got a call from Rob Allen at Spinner's Bike shop in Leola, Pa.(out by Lancaster). He thought he had our guys but needed some photos to be 100%. We sent him the photos, he made an immediate id and called the police. The police came and after some interviews and with the help our our surveillance camera photos they finally confessed. They were two University of Delaware students and guess what???? Just like I thought..Runners! How about that? They were trying to do the same thing to Rob. They had fake ids and parked their car a mile away from his store. They are being charged with attempted robbery in Leola and then will be brought back to Abington for the robbery charges. What a relief! We don't have the bikes back yet but the thieves said they still had them, so I am hoping to get them back shortly.
Finally let me say thank you for everyone's help. It was amazing to see the biking community in the greater Philadelphia area and beyond come together to assist us in finding the suspects. Thank you all for your well wishes and sympathy. Thank you for all the advice and for the outpour of support. It was incredible to see how email and the internet could be so instrumental in finding these guys. Thank you Rob for being heads up and looking out for us!

Brian Hackford

Buck up, Ryan. You just soak up those rays and you'll feel better in no time. And drink your orange juice. You need your vitamin C.

Punk Rock Karaoke is tonight at Tritone. This month's edition is a benefit for Rick Dee's mother. Anyone who loves old punk rock should come out. There's a band that plays the covers and you actually get up on stage and front the band for your song/s. It's a beer spitting, song slurring mess of a wonderful time. You should all come out. Here are the songs they have lined up for this month:

7 Seconds – 99 Red Balloons
Adolescents – No Way
Agent Orange – Bloodstains
Angry Samoans – Lights Out
Anti-Nowhere League – Let’s Break The Law
Bad Brains – Banned in DC
Black Flag – Rise Above –Gimme Gimme Gimme –No Values
Blitz – Someone’s Gonna Die
Business – Drinking and Driving
Clash – What’s My Name – Janie Jones
Cocksparrer – Runnin’ Riot
D.I. – Guns
Damned – New Rose
Dead Boys – Sonic Reducer
Dead Kennedys – Kill The Poor – Too Drunk To ****
Dead Milkmen – Nutrition
Dwarves – ****ed ‘Em All
Fear – I Love Livin’ In The City – I Don’t Care About You
Fugazi – Waiting Room
Gang Green – Alcohol
Generation X – Dancing With Myself
Germs – Lexicon Devil
GG Allin – Bite It You Scum –You Hate Me And I Hate You
Johnny Thunders – One Track Mind
Menace – GLC
Minor Threat – Minor Threat – Filler – I Don’t Wanna Hear It
Misfits – 20 Eyes – Astro Zombies – Hybrid Moments–Bullet–Skulls
Murphy’s Law – Quest For Herb
Naked Raygun – Rat Patrol
Negative Approach - Nothing
Peter and the Test Tube Babies – Banned From The Pubs
Ramones – Commando–Chinese Rocks–Blitzkrieg Bop
Reagan Youth – No Class
Social Distortion – Another State Of Mind
Stiff Little Fingers– Suspect Device
Subhumans – No – Religious Wars
Suicidal Tendencies – Institutionalized
T.S.O.L. – Code Blue
UK Subs - Stranglehold
Zero Boys – Civilization’s Dying

Oh, and they give out a lot of prizes. So come get loaded with me!

I'm riding tonight after work. Out to Valley Forge, or at least toward it? Starting around 5:30-5:45.

Wicked bummer! I hadn't been following this thread, so I had no idea it was over today. And now, I'm strapped, so no $$ for stuff buying. That looks like a nice deal.

I have a video from the 80's that's meant to be watched while riding a stationary bike. A first person view of some dude in spandex. We can get a crew together and watch that. And we can eat cheese fries at the same time. Cause who ever really gets to eat cheese fries while actually riding a bike?

Cheese fries! That's an incredible idea, the bike vid/cheese fry eating. Take it to another level and make it poutine.
