It's actually not black but a really dark green. Goes well with the blue Velocity rims.

CP 24 just ran a lovely little POS story about someone's precious doggy getting hit in High Park by a cyclist. So now we're dog-haters, too. Great.

On topic: I don't think the dude was on a ss/fg.

Hard to say. It might just be a smidge loose. It might need a full overhaul. It definately has some play in the bearings..rear hub. I think Chuck has arranged for someone to do it already tho.

Isn't that what the taxi door is for?

didn't campy advertize their first generation record brakes as "speed modulators" rather than full on brakes? i don't remember where i read that but it seems like a nice little cover up for something that doesn't work..."uh, yeah, you shouldn't be grabbing at your brakes in a pack anyway, so these brakes are made race-specific by their lack of stopping power. mamma-mia!"

Shiznaz 05-23-07 07:56 AM

It doesn't matter when they are molto elegante!

Speed modulators? That's sweet. Obviously written by a lawyer!

Breaking news. Does anyone here know of anyone that has had an IRO Mark V stolen in the last little while? 56 cm, Miche rear hub. I have many more details and the serial # so if anyone knows of anyone pass the info along.

26"-SS-Cyclecross/ATB. Very strange.

Do those brake levers work well with the V/canti's?

the cantis no problem. i had to install a travel agent for it to work with the V brake. so far so good; i'm going to trail-test it tomorrow. which reminds me: what's the easiest way into the Don (coming from parkdale)? i've only ever seen the entrance at pottery road...
