Well I am going to curbside at 6pm, so I guess if we can get a table outside at the green room then we would be able to take advantage of the weather. Or if that doesn't work out then there is the labyrint and the other large patio at the corner of brunswick.

Ah ha! And that was you that I saw on Queen East this afternoon. You were even dressed identically

And Pyze, or anyone else who owns an infernal combustion engine thing. Here's what I have in terms of car paraphanelia:
- one 12V battery charger
- Dwell tester
- Timing light
- compression tester
- big shiny thing to put in your window during the summer.

All free, so first come, first served... drop me a pm if you want anything from the list.

i know it's mounted via eyelets in the photo but there is a provision for the brake hole mount. i think it was originally intended for supporting a saddle bag but it seems to have found many uses.

The other day I was watching a "bidding war" (more like Kitten War) go down on an large 82 Bianchi Piaggio Pista frame. I appeared to be in great condition. It reached 400$ and didn't hit the reserve. I thought it would raise more. I emailed the guy and he asked for 500$. Is there something I don't know about buying older track frames? please enlighten me.

Sure. Supply and demand. Since every hipster and their girlfriend just must have a vintage track frame, prices for even mediocre bikes have gone thru the roof. I have been buying used track bikes for over 15 years now and I really cant believe people are paying what they are. Even 5 years ago I could still pick up a nice vintage bike with full Campy for under $600. Now that they are popular, prices have gone up dramatically. Eventually track bikes will go out of "fashion" and all these folks who overpaid for their bikes will be crying when they are lucky to get half what they paid. I for one look forward to this day.

I'd say that right now it is a good time to find one, they are getting pretty cheap. I am guessing that the celeste colour was pretty popular in the '90s and even early 2000s but now I think people want something less flashy. This one I was watching was a steal for a Reparto Corse road frame and even this complete bike went for a cheap price.

Except for of course, the track frames which are overpriced, as CavMech said. The trend in track frames has priced some very mediocre stuff like Schwinn Madisons, or anything Italian, into the 400$USD range. If that frame is a celeste coloured Bianchi pista, even if it is made out of Aelle tubing, it goes for a grip. I think that it will slow down one day as all trends do, I cannot wait
