I'm not completely sure if DA Cogs fit on campy hubs, I think it's just EAI and Phil ones that do.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think we've had this discussion as it related to that company that offered free Sidi's. But, does anyone know of a place downtown that does orthotics? There was a place in my building, but I have to pay a $70 fee to meet with the person for them to determine whether I need them ("but I have a presciption" "well we still need the $70") plus the orthotics were pretty expensive.
At that price, I'd get the free Sidi's!

I had my molds made last week. It's expensive however, regardless of "free" shoes. The main reason I'm going for it is because my health benefits cover it. (that and I've started to experience the first twinges of knee pain, and I don't want to go through that whole thing again this year)

I had my Orthotics made at https://www.walkingmobility.ca/ and they were nearly $600... Fortunately my insurance covered a bit but I still basically bought $400 insoles!
Despite my flat feet, I insisted that I didn't need the Orthotics and my knee problems were a result of something else. They insisted that I needed them, I bought them and found out I had a bone fragment the size of a marble floating around in my knee - once removed, my knee functioned perfectly and I never wear the Orthotics... what a waste!

I saw a guy at MEC last night and he looked SUPER familiar, and I couldn't figure out who he was. He had a PAC messenger bag on and was obviously a cyclist, so I knew that was the connection. It was driving me nuts.. we were in line together, a few people apart. I'm sure he either recognized me too, or just thought I was creepy.
Anyway, as I was getting checked through I realized it's a guy I see all the time riding in the Don. I actually don't know him at all, just from saying 'hey' while riding past each other (it was the guy we rode up that one dead-end climb with after riding P-A, Brad). But I've seen him so many times that I recognized him immediately.
I <3 cycling.

Congrats! Guess you won't be hanging out at bikechain as often.. I'm only there because it's a break from work, but I guess for you it'd be more work.. but don't forget to stop in and visit once in a while
