I was actually thinking that jersey had Nerdsgirth written all over it.

For those snow days where the Surly Pugsley simply isn't bling enough:

Superchampion looks like the same kind of boutique concept as La Carrera, which is on Harbord, between Spadina & Major.

Why didn't Jennifer Aniston buy whatshername that Moots, it is so so so much nicer than the Chanel old lady bike and probably costs about the same. RigorMootis sounds cooler too....

Totally.. I've had a total lust for Moots bikes since the early 90s. There's a guy I've seen at some 'cross races here with a softtail Moots cx bike. *****time.

ps. did you notice the front/rear spacing on the bike is the same? So there's a full rear wheel up front including a spare cassette.

If I had a nickel for every time I needed a spare cassette while out for a ride...

Well, the bike is designed specifically for marathon snow bike races like the Iditabike. With such gigantic spacing needed just to fit the tire/rim into the fork, you might as well do it that way!

Rigormootis! I love their road bike.. never seen one in real life.
Thanks zipper! will wear with pride.

Also thanks for all the input. I am going to take it to the carpaint store on college for a touch-up match for the repaired dropout. It shouldn't be hard because it is an off white. Unlike this bad boy, they couldn't make an exact match:

I was out and about too, full rainsuit minus booties and fenders/flaps. Can't decide if it's better wet and slushy (and warm) or icy and cold! I'll take cold over rain anyday... but the ice is a tossup.

one thing i like about campy is that it seems to have been born out of passion, if nothing else. can't say that for shimano's team of engineers...

The really funny thing is that I randomly found mitch's restored benotto perusing that site for shamal information.

jboss and enterprise java beans are making my programming endeavors much more interesting. Hooray for writing session beans to generate MD5 hashes. Today session beans, tomorrow JMS queues!

FWIW: I'm learning some J2EE stuff on my own so I can bring my A-game to 4th year projects. Hopefully, I'll apply and get into the masters program at Guelph or UofT.

Also: the parents have agreed to take ownership of my T60 in exchange for purchasing a new MacBook for me. To save some (a lot) of cash, I was looking at the refurb'd models. Does anyone here have experience ordering refurbs from Apple? Good/bad?
