piecing it.

currently missing: BB, HS, bars & stem.
I have no idea what bars to get.

oh right, I have a chorus crank so I guess I'll go with the 102mm as cavern suggested.

Anyone know where to get button-cell batteries in town? The Source? I tried Active Surplus but they don't have the one I need (L1142 for a Schwinn bike computer) - easily obtainable online, but for a battery that's a little overkill...

Also, how are the roads north of here typically after the snow and crap? I'm planning to ride to Sutton on Saturday.

The major arterials are fine. The smaller feeder roads may still be junked up, but they are generally very rideable.

I'm thinking about updating my mountain bike a bit, well I need new shifters and ideally a new rear derailer, any ideas on where I can get some cheap? I don't need anything great as I rarely ride my mountain bike, but it would be nice to have a bike that shifts really nice.

XTR? That's a good price! But, too much bling for my trusty stead. I'm thinking LX

thanks! Reading week starts tomorrow so I'll be back for a week.
I have no preferences for bars so I'll probably try those

I'm lead to believe campy has their own spindle taper which is different from Shimano's or whatever else there is.

5 bucks!? it's half that price online!

Seriously though, thanks a lot - I had *just* loaded their site when I re-read the posts. Also looking for cheapy walkie-talkies for tours/day rides. I always got scared/excited going into Radioshack/The Source looking at all of the electronic componentry... being able to search a website is way easier for actually finding stuff

I think I'm catering this Sat. If not I'll be at the races, watching and cheering but not riding.

If I'm in town, me too. Won't be riding in the races, but want to go cheer/watch.

You play for the Parkdale Flames? I was lucky enough to be near McCormick arena to change a flat I had in that storm on Tuesday night, apparently home of said Flames. Would love to play, but I can barely skate
