If they're building bikes and they DON'T need any lawyers, that's a good thing!

It seems everone had a good time at the race last night. Keith truely is an evil course/checkpoint designer with some of the city's vet messengers scratchin' theirs heads as to checkpoint locations.
Good times!

Yeah the employee discount is pretty crazy. I was surprised it is as good as it is actually! Oh and thanks!

Good news about your Dad, Dan!
Very noice stool indeed. We had a fun egg hunt this morning, and I'm contemplating a full journey taking her back in the trailer behind my fixed gear. I brought her back from the ACC on Friday this way, which was fine - I just have to take it easy for the greater stopping distances (no back brake) which is easy enough when pulling a good weight behind.

Speaking of which... anyone know a saddle that would be comparable to an SLR gel flow fit/comfort wise but that doesn't have the stitching that destroys all your pants?
Anyone used a fizik before that has experience with the selle italia too?

I do have a bunch of expensive options that didn't work for me but maybe your biology will agree better. Your welcome to borrow and try. PW me.I'm on the mend! Bummer I missed the race... and I'm totally slacking on the post race update for the site, but it should be up later today. Does anyone have any of the global stats yet?

I've got a Terry Fly Ti (Selle Italia Collaboration) - the side profile is nowhere near as thin as the SLR Gel Flow but the shape is relatively similar from the top and it's been very good to me for the last year or so.

Sounds like Matt's bike. He is their webmaster. In full trim his bike weighs 10lbs. Not a poser either..he did the Etape last year on it.

I have the selle san marco skn (not the ti version). No stitching on the saddle. I've had it for over a year and love it. I picked up the serfas stinger race comp yesterday. Rode about 20km on it so far and its really nice as well. No stitching either. The selle are on sale at Bikes on wheels for $35 right now. Would have grabbed one but I'd just bought the serfas from Mitch for a great price, and its comfy and styling. Form and function united together, a fixed gear faux pas indeed.

I guess that just goes to show how individual saddle tastes are... I HATED the Stinger... I got it to replace an SLR XP that was stolen and I rode it for about 3 days before I decided to rid myself of it... The SKN looks pretty sweet and for $35 bucks? What do you think of the SKN for distance riding? One of the guys I'm going to europe with need a new saddle but I'm thinking that something with a little more padding might make more sense for him.

And as far as saddles go, neither the standard Selle Italia SLR or the SLR XP have stitching on the top, other than down in that little "window" thingy but that is in an indent so it doesn't touch your pants. I'm nearing a year on both of my SLR saddles and not only are my pants happy my um... well they're comfortable let's leave it at that! You can get 'em cheap from Wheels of Bloor too.
Oh and Ryan is quite correct as per the pants friendly character of a Turbo saddle. I actually kept one after my crazy blowout sale which I may ressurect (topical!!!) on my new track bike. Oops let that one slide again.

And if you disagree, I'll sue!
