on the subject of spoken word. if you've never been the the Scream in High Park i recommend going. i took poetry in university so sort of had a background in poetry and performance art, but i always bring someone along who knows nothing of it and they usually end up hating about 90% of it becuase it's so out there, performance wise ("sound poetry" for example), but there is always something that connects with them (and me) and you always experience something new you can't see anywhere else, or didn't think you'd like. yay performance poetry!

I was thinking of painting my new (old) track frame this way. Any idea what kind of prep is required? I can strip the old paint myself, but do I need to get someone to sand blast it?
