yeah, i was suprised to see them after i forked out the $100 for the nittos. i mean they're probably not heat treated or machined for barend shifters or anything special but heck, for a street fixed they look perfect.

they also have some soma track bars that i'm eyeing. have to sell the ill-fitting track bars i have already though...

and they don't even match the stem, they should be silver. looks like they should be flipped over and ridden like bullhorns.

it's expensive, but for a custom frame of that caliber i wouldn't say its over priced.

Henry is awesome doing spoken word.
Haven't seen Jello do spoken but he is pretty passionate and articulate.

on the subject of spoken word. if you've never been the the Scream in High Park i recommend going. i took poetry in university so sort of had a background in poetry and performance art, but i always bring someone along who knows nothing of it and they usually end up hating about 90% of it becuase it's so out there, performance wise ("sound poetry" for example), but there is always something that connects with them (and me) and you always experience something new you can't see anywhere else, or didn't think you'd like. yay performance poetry!

I was thinking of painting my new (old) track frame this way. Any idea what kind of prep is required? I can strip the old paint myself, but do I need to get someone to sand blast it?
