Of course they are. I am a computard. I will see if I can fix that....I know it is easy but some of us are just "challenged".

kergin 08-07-08 07:20 PM

I loved riding fixed in the winter though, I was running a 28 on the back and it still seemed OK... 20s must dissect that stuff easy.

flim - totally agree with you: first reaction is to modulate speed thru your legs, then brakes.

DavidL 08-07-08 08:25 PM

hey guys, im new to toronto and was wondering if you had a fixed gear shop that I can go find some coloured nitto bars at

32flavours 08-07-08 08:27 PM

Whoa- nice Gardin, Shamil. I will have a nice Gardin soon too! *high five*

elTwitcho 08-07-08 08:30 PM

That bike is pretty damn slick.

DavidL I've never noticed colored nitto bars but I've never looked either. I'm going around looking for a couple things tomorrow or this weekend and I'll keep an eye out.

Flimflam 08-07-08 08:51 PM

Holy camoly that's beautiful... Certainly a 'subtle' step up from the Gardin I had ;)

Gorgeous bike Sham, when you taking her out?

pyze-guy 08-07-08 09:35 PM

Belated B-day wishes Shamil. Was the Gardin a gift to you, or to yourself? New bikes for birthdays are great.

Wheels are Level's on Mavic Hard Ano Open Pro's w/ DT Comp spokes. Crankset is a Veloce road with Miche ring...original Gippieme cup and cone BB. Bar and stem are Cinelli. Dear Keith,

It's been too long since we last chatted. Remember that time i brought you stiegls for fixing my rear hub? Yeah, me too. Good times. Sometimes when i think about it I just can't stop the good feelings. Anyways, on a totally unrelated note my birthday is at the end of october.

Last year I found that in/out of the bocce ball courts worked well.

Yeah, there's lots of stuff in that park. Hills, trees, sand (both bocce ball and baseball diamond)... plus it gets nice and sloppy when it's wet. ;)
