I have a Topeak RoadMorph and need to buy a new 'adaptor' (the thing that connects to the bike that you slide the pump into). Does anyone know where I can get one?

Was it a bus knuckle? I'm not sure why, but Don Mills seems to have more of em than anywhere else I've noticed.

Kind of sucks that they'd not even consider how dangerous that could be for a cyclist to put essentially a 3 lane wide pothole at the base of a huge descent. I mean the city spends a **** ton of money putting up ads in bus shelters encouraging you to ride your bike but they don't even make an effort to make the city more rideable

optics man, they REALLY don't want you to ride, there's no revenue in it for them at all. I've got a hole like that here near work, it makes me want to carry a big can of safety orange spray paint.
There's a sweet bus knuckle at Bloor and Dufferin. I always forget and then remember half a second too late.

Otherwise though, aside from the hidden death trench, Don Mills southbound is a ****ing fantastic ride if you catch it when there isn't much traffic. Beautiful wide roads, well spaced out traffic lights and smooth pavement.

Two years ago, a 15 inch strip of the street was torn up and re-paved very very poorly on Roncesvalles so there is a bus-knuckle running for 8 blocks on the east side of the street. I talked to the Roncesvalles Business Association guys about it because it is positioned exactly where cyclists ride but they say that in 2009 the whole street is going to be ripped up by the TTC anyways, so it is pointless to repair it.
I think there should be some sort of penalty levied against the construction companies that do shoddy work but I don't know how viable an answer that would be...

who says field trips have to end in school?
just went on a 5 day canoe trip on Georgian bay, around philip edward island. work paid for everything but food, and then paid me for 25 hours
. got some canoes surfing (4.5knots), some canoes sailing(4.8knots (~10km/h)), some fishing, also almost got dumped 2km from shore when we decided that the 5ft white caps off a shoal, would make a good playground
(we got partially through a gap before loosing the wave, and had the next two just come crashing over the stern and swamp us, before we caught the last wave and surfed out.)
time to go vote, and then pick up a cetma rack

I slept-in, voted, had a nice lunch with a friend, finished up that Concorde to a more reasonable setup than it's previous "Tri" incarnation, chatted with my mom and now I am enjoying a coffee with some of mom's homemade shortbread.
Best October day off ever (will be even better if Harper is stuck with a minority---fingers crossed!)

A few things im throwing out to see what the response is
Hi
I have few things im curious to see what the interest in is....
One is a event planned for October friday 24th you can see the post on craigslist, sorry I just posted it so the link is not up yet. If there is enough interest I will secure the venue and how you say "Party on?"
I jsut thought we could use something fun for a change, since this year has been kind of sucky doom and gloom.. The title of the posting is ALLEY CAT RACE/BRAND LAUNCH PARTY/AUCTION/HALLOWEEN COSTUME EVENT
The other thing im looking at doing is offering a group buy on some fixed gear frames and parts
The frames might be $180-$150 with forks, and I would possibly offer a discount on parts as well.
However
As you may know however when you do a group buy on an item (frames especially) you may not see the item for a few months (3 to 4 perhaps)
If you are interested in either or both drop me a private message on here or email me via polly@cyclescanada.com
I hope everyone is well.. toodles
