remember boys and girls, when you wear bike shorts to work because it's raining, bring some goddamned underwear! sure, i have a two extra pairs of socks, two extra sweaters, and even an extra belt, but now i'm stuck with a damp chamios - and not for any good reasons - for 9 or so more hours... *siiiiigh*

ps. yes, i know i'm a chamois and no, i'm not gonna go commando.

you know, i did that once and ended up with a pair of size small purple leopard print bikini briefs (the photo on the box showed different). i ended up going commando - it's the only logical choice, and a liberating one i might add.

What Jeremy fails to mention is that this began a long, storied history of "Leopard Print Evenings" with his significant other. RERRRRRRR!!!

So I just got off the phone with Johnny who filled me in on Teddy's adventure on the weekend. After arriving in Kelowna he was supposed to catch a connecting flight to Kamloops. He missed his flight so then rode his bike for 9 hours on Saturday to Kamloops. Once he arrived he found out that the hostel he was meant to stay in was booked. With nowhere to lay his head down he spent the night in the local Tim Horton's intermittently dozing off and drinking coffee. He then headed out to the National's and finished in 6th. The legend grows. I also forgot to mention he did this on a borrowed stock Jake the Snake while all his competition was riding pimped out $6000 cross bikes.
Oh yeah....Yeti is now the official bike sponsor of Angry Johnny's Racing. I would tell you what the team deal is but you prolly don't want to know. Gonna put in my order for a new Carbon 575 and cross frame next week. You may want to put up a craigslist ad for the Planet X Wes.

I've only seen that guy once outside of CM, and that was only last week or the one before, heh.. He wasn't in a suit though, that's damn cool

Does one of your fixies have blue anodized rims? I thought I saw you, but couldn't tell properly - this was at 5:15ish at Queen/John last night.

Rain is always fun times, except when I don't have a spare pair of socks in my desk at work... doh.

i parted out my winterbike a bunch over the summer as friends needed things - i think it's time for me to start to collect them and get that thing back on the road! i miss having full fenders on days like this!
