Pyze, thanks for the offer of the rigid borrow but the HS is in such bad shape I'm terrified to pull it all apart. It was all grease and love that has eld it together so far, it's ooooollllld. I was hoping the next time it came off it would be getting replaced by a new fork/hs combo. I gave a bud a PC card yesterday and he might poking around work for a new cap and a longer bolt to accommodate the weird plastic Ritchey cap that was on there. Dude thanks so much for the offer though, that's super big of ya. That's why you have an understanding wife and a connection for gold tickets....you deserve it. Should have just left well enough alone, sheesh.

Happy day after Love day.

If everything goes to poop with the MTB does anyone know of extra 700's Ice spikeys kickin' around for Sat?

Who's carrying SS crank bolts as well?

so far.... -8 for a low next Saturday. woot!

Seem to have woken up ith a tweaked knee, I'll see how it is in 40 mins, else - I'll have to skip - don't want to push this naymore as it started to bother me late last week.

Have a good one either way, I might go for a gentle road spin later instead.

Looks like another fun ride!

I went half as far twice as slow just as much fun today.

I like that route. Nice tour of the backroads and fancy houses.

Ended up peeling off with my friend, probably a good thing cuz he was cooked after 40k. Then went on an easy cruise with another friend, and took the same fancy-schmancy rosedale route. Good times! Probably pushin 400km in the past 8 days.

Not a great deal, IMHO. I'd haggle. A new set of wheels like that is around $250 US on in net.

Hmmmmm, tough call. $150 would be an okay deal but I bet the guy has already had a bunch of emails, leaving you with less negotiating power.

On the plus side, it should be a pretty solid wheel for the streets.

Hm, 250 US is 320 CAD. And i won't be getting the cog/lockring so the wheel will cost me 165. However i will tell him i can get a set for 320, and will try to get the wheel for 150, hopefully he'll agree. I mean he's brining it with him anyway, so might not want to carry it back again without a deal. Thanks for the info.

Buy that KHS (that I linked a page or two ago) for $400 cash, sell the frame for $250 and you have a track wheelset for $150

I don't know how the guy does it, that's some serious force he's up against and he just ... well, you know!

Heading south was a tad chilly tonight (wind and my choice of clothing), but seemed like a beautiful day nonetheless, more sun = more fun!
