We'll be going to Eglinton/Laird, I'm aiming for 8:45.
Ran my road bike today, insane fun spinning the hell out of my legs - really missed that. Wind was intense, and I only went to St. Clair/Christie - was nice being able to crank it out into different ratios to mitigate the godawful headwind going back west.

I'll be blacked out, save for a red/white limar lid.
My left knee has been inflamed all of today, so I'll be on my road bike - blue tires.
I'll take that busted wheel, Jet, we'll hammer out a time that works best for you.
I'll be with a buddy of mine on his road bike as well

I am opting out tomorrow, because family is coming from out of town. See you next weekend, I guess?
The honeymoon with my Miele is over. Started cleaning it today when I discovered the BB is notched. Next, I noticed a hairline crack emanating from the bolt hole out to the side of the drive side arm. I cannot get the drive side arm off the BB...
Keith, I suspect this bike will be getting a trip to you fairly soon... like, tomorrow. Got any suitable cranks in stock?

You might think that being the most expensive lock on the market, a NYC lock that is stored indoors wouldn't just suddenly seize up and become impossible to open.
You'd think that, but you'd be wrong of course.
EDIT: Somebody add "seized kryptonite lock" to the long list of things you can fix with a hammer. A bit of phil wood grease should hopefully prevent this from happening again, especially god forbid if my bike is stuck locked to something

Use graphite spray. Also, a NY lock is far from the most expensive lock on the market

Also, got out for a bit on the fixed today and also had my first cherry beach cheeseburger of the year. The guy uses cheap patties... but he cooks 'em up good. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm always on a ride when I go there but I always really enjoy his burgers (and I am a total burger snob). His fries are top notch too.

Icebreaker was epic today. Best weather and course conditions in years. Our team absolutely killed it with 18 podiums. I was one of em with a 3rd. My bike is the most incredible piece of white awesomeness evar! That is all.

I had no idea so many athletes are riders. I better step up my pathetic game and get my knee looked at. The operator didn't even break a sweat.
Cupcrazy ran with superstar stamina
Sir flimflam owned the climbs fendered out and all.
It was good times you all tempt me to give up the desk-job and train as an olympian.
I tasted the 2x2 formation on the return and it was euphoria - until I got dropped after the climb. Then it was just a bad dream.
nice recap
did you guys end up doing the 80k or one of the longer ones?

I'm definitely coming next weekend, sounds like a fun ride. How bad are the hills for 48/17 gearing?

So, Flanders was today. Do I spy a bunch of de-badged Thomson posts on the Garmin team bikes?

Yeah, donut ride was fun - rough at times on the fixed (like when the chain falls off starting the nice ride back down so you miss the pack grr
), but still a good ride.
I think most of us did the shorter route, taking a right from Keele onto King Rd. to head over to Yonge. From my place to Eglinton/Laird and back home was 111km all in, so 80k sounds reasonable.
cupcrazy4 went north more I'm pretty sure.
Just got back from a ride around the east end, man I'm beat... going to sleep well tonight

Uh, ya they do. The Palladio. I was just getting at the use of non-sponsored products that work better on tough days than the regular blingie stuff. It's the same thing as guys racing on Nemesis/Reflex rims, etc.
the palladio isn't out, was supposed to be out by now but they re-designed the clamp
found a photo from tour of california, definitely a thomson, it looks like some of them were de-bandged and some weren't, weird

edit: looks like this is their standard seatpost (debranded), guess they aren't sponsored by 3t for the seatposts, they just run the thomson unsponsored

obligatory "if there are no pics it didn't happen" blah blah blah
looking outside today, i can understand if u think i took these pics last year.. but really, they were of yesterday morning.

we passed by some great sights that I didn't photograph, like passing by sunset blvd around Bethesda and stouffville sideroad.
there was one dude on a vintage rossin, we chatted and he sounded french or something. messenger bag and all and he was still hauling.
