So you sacrifice a bottle slot for a repair kit?

Topeak wedge bag ftw.

STEEKER 06-05-06 09:27 PM

Cavernmech !
you did'nt show up,,,,,, I had a different idea of the CV rides I was expecting to be riding around Toronto checking out patio's and riding through garages and streets **** it turned out tto be a hammerfest and I caught almost every red like buggered my back trying to catch up but I did make it to Cycle Solutions

operator 06-05-06 09:31 PM

Lol steeker. Sirrobin posted a giant picture with the word hammerfest on it a couple pages back :D

STEEKER 06-05-06 09:35 PM

:roflmao: I do believe my back and balls are very upset with me right now

eyefloater 06-05-06 09:38 PM

The hill ride in the beginning is weak but the 180 skid makes up for it:

STEEKER 06-05-06 09:39 PM

I would not want to be that goalie from Edmonton right now , that was the most stupid thing I ever saw in hockey

that was a cool video , that's what night rides mean to me doing stuff like that

Ill Mitch 06-05-06 10:09 PM

How do they skid so easily like that?

it looks like they're not putting any effort into it at all.

keep your weight over the bars I won't lol

Ill Mitch 06-05-06 10:13 PM

some of them were right over their saddles though

sr20det 06-05-06 10:16 PM

well. when I switched over from straps to clipless, it became tons easier.
but I still find 1 footed skids REALLY hard.

STEEKER 06-05-06 10:18 PM

going downthe hill ya thenight shots I did'nt see that

eyefloater 06-05-06 10:19 PM

Mitch, they're at an area called the Clocktower in San Francisco. The surface for a lot of those night time moves was really smooth (if not polished). Way different than trying skids like that on asphalt, etc.

Ill Mitch 06-05-06 10:20 PM

^^^ yea that's true

this video is pretty l0l

sr20det 06-05-06 10:25 PM

yea. what eyefloater said.
you should try skidding in an apartment garage. its AMAZING.
the ground is smooth concrete. and if its really humid, the ground is wet and man.. skidding is smooth as butter on those days.

eyefloater 06-05-06 10:26 PM

I saw you try it once, but can you actually do riding backwards/backwards 360s?

Man, I can't believe Edmonton lost! I was told at the beginning of CV that Edmonton was up 3-1...

WTF!

Yeah, CV was truly a hammerfest...

Nice to officially meet some of the Toronto Fixed crew :)

32flavours 06-05-06 10:53 PM

It's not always like that. Hammerfest-y, I mean. This was a particularly hammer-y CV. Next CV, I vote bar biking.
