I did the same thing this morning turning left from bathurst onto adelaide. Except the streetcar tracks were wet and I started fishtailing all over the place while trying to turn 90 degrees and cars were rushing to get through the advance green all around me. I think the only reason I didn't go down was because I knew a car would steam-roll me if I did!

ps. no harm done on the shiz, as long as I get to keep "THATS MY MAMA!"

Wow that's neat. Cars, bikes, trucks and motorcycles seem to know how to share the road together!
Amazing! What advanced 0th world country is this?

If I remember correctly it's footage from India. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Shiznaz 06-19-06 11:40 AM

Its an Icelandic domain, but I'm willing to bet that video isn't from downtown Reykjavik

Speaking of Scandihoovia, I love the picture of Sweden's King Carl Gustaf on his wikipedia node... Just scroll down 3/4 of the way to the "Royal duties and personal interests" section to see the one I mean.

He seems like such a fictional playboy type character.. eg:

He looks like Johnny Depp in Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas or something. :P

Maybe, but not if it's raining:

"Cloudy periods. 40 percent chance of showers early this evening with the risk of a thunderstorm. Wind southwest 20 km/h becoming northwest 20 late this evening. Low 17."

operator 06-19-06 12:27 PM

Newsflash, they've been saying that for the past 4 days. And they still aren't right.

That's great! Canada needs a knig.

I loved the rain this morning for my commute. Nice on my sandalled toes. I swear I'm faster when it's raining.

I always feel that way too. Maybe the water lubes up my chain:) Seriously though, I always thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me, because of the longer stopping distance with wet rims.

It was a refreshing rain though.

STEEKER 06-19-06 01:07 PM

so rain or shine we ride tonight?, Edit: Darkmother I did'nt see brakes on your Fixie
