Not happening, the woman and I are going on a ride in the morning.

Edit: one that is NOT 103km ... more like half that.

I'm back in w/ the training rides next week though if ol' Somna gets his shizznit together

Hmm that’s too bad, I lived around there for a few years they have helped me out on a couple of occasion’s pretty generic stuff & lots of it. They always had a note in the window hit doorbell & 3 minites later he would show up.

*stream of profanity*

I just experienced an almost overwhelming urge to sell off the Pake frame/wheelset and build up a new commuting bike. Steamroller is at least double butted ... I can get it for cheap and it'll fit bigass cyclocross tires in the winter.

That and I've got that 36/36 double fixed set of Formula hubs just itching to be laced up 3 leading/3 trailing.

Oh willpower, save me now.

No...

I'm gonna have to lower the price and/or reach a wider market with eBay.

I don't wanna eBay it though... Too much hassle with shipping and not getting shafted for payment.

We'll see.

Don't you normally get paid before you ship it w/ eBay?

Oh riiiight, now I remember (I forget/remember this everytime I start considering a Surly): I'm on the look-out for one of the old brown ones w/ the different geometry and no drilling for a rear brake. If anyone ever spots one for sale, lemmie know please.

The guy at the shop said his friends bike got stolen a while ago and after searching for a while she was walking by Igor's shop and spotted her bike outside amongst all the other stolen bikes. As she was looking at it Igor came up to her and she said,
"hey this is my bike, it was stolen a couple weeks ago, I'm taking it back"

Igor, "no this can't be your bike"

girl, " yes it is, give it back to me right now or I'm calling the cops"

after she says this Igor starts walking away into the walkway beside the shop, so she follows him and is saying,
"hey **** you, I'm calling the cops right now and taking my bike back"

As she's saying this, Igor starts unzipping his pants and pulls them down, HE THEN SQUATED DOWN AND STARTED TAKING A ***** RIGHT THERE IN THE WALKWAY IN FRONT OF THE GIRL, she was completely weirded out by this (I'm sure everyone would be), so she walked away out onto the side walk and grabbed her bike that Igors minions stole and rode off.

This guy is ****in insane, that's all I have to say. If your bike ever gets stolen make sure you check Igor's immediately, just don't follow him into the walkway beside his shop.

Craigslist isn't exactly the spot for selling high priced stuff. Try posting an ad on TBN's classifieds or something, you might hit a market where people aren't looking for rock bottom deals.

Also try Canadian Cyclist classifieds...its free. And put a for sale thingy down at the MEC. Stuff sells pretty good on that board from what I am told.

Is City Cycle the Chinese owned place? That's unfortunate. I just went into his store for the first time last week. Looked like business was slow. I wonder if he's selling all those wheels cheap.

Anyone up for a little spin this afternoon? I need to pick up a 17mm cone wrench and figured I might as well make a ride out of it.
