I went on a nice picnic ride to the island with my girlfriend today. Lovely weather, great scenery. The island really is the gem of Toronto. While waiting for the ferry back I met a dude from New York who was riding a blue IRO cross frame with blue deep v wheels and riser bars. we chatted about bikes for a while, it was pretty neat. We also met some funny Japanese guys who gave Emma a little ride. It was pretty funny:

holy shiat.
I thought you became really japanese or my memory was messing with me. cause for a sec, I thought you were the guy on the front of the bike haha.
reason being: the guy on the front is wearing the same brown shoes as you.
(and I only remeber what shoes you had because you had those shiny pant cuffs on last time.)

I'm going to be at the annex grassroots start point at 7:30am tomorrow (408 bloor west). Hopefully I'll bump into some of you guys. I already told my boss I'm going to be late for work so I really may as well not just sleep in.

Just crazy tight turns coming inches from car's bumpers, probably freaking the drivers out.
It gets pretty risky sometimes, but that's the best part; knowing how colse you are to killing your self. haah.
Maybe I should start wearing a helmet...

What a kick in the nuts if you were planning on taking transit to work this morning. It was gridlock out there. I love my bike.
