I'm going to check out Urbane and see if they have more than what was on the site.
80 bones but if it keeps a summers worth of smog trapped sulfuric acid particles out of my lungs I think I'll win. I hope to be able to try one at the store to gleen an idea as to how it will be trying to hoover air during my adventures in traffic. I don't think any of us are of the non-elevated heart rate type riders and it would deal breaker if I can't suck air.
To me it's partly for my personal health, but also partly as a statement to drivers on smog days... STOP KILLING ME!

It's because when all the windows are closed, the only way for air to enter is through outside and it gets concentrated into the car. That and most people have the AC running and airflow on circulate.

That and they're stuck in gridlock doing 1kph anyways.

rob, you're more than welcome to ride it. i don't think you'll be able to patch your tube in time for bike for heart. i've just been lazy as hell and haven't redeemed my other bike from the pawnbrokers..er, i mean cavern.you'll have to stick your wheels on 'em.. i only have a front brake on it though. the bike's complete except for wheels, saddle and pedals. i busted my chain ring and was forced to spend $50 on a replacement at urbane because someone at cavern couldn't hook me up.
the new ring is 44 down from 48.. i hoping to make it into a ss for the girlfriend but the gearing might still be too high.

jeez you make me feel like a wimp. I had a 42 on it

While exhaust may be higher in the vehicle, we also get the joy of all the particulate matter flying around outside - one reason I don't winter ride is the inhalation of all the lovely salt particles.

If there's a pawn ticket on your Sannino, you better hurry down before I get there...

The closer to the ground, the more particulate matter. to think some particles are actual sufuric acid blows my mind. I hope it's not like a couple years ago when EVERY nice warm sunny day was a smog day by default.

Yes, but I could hang it on my wall. Perhaps a nice bottle of 15 or 20 year old scotch could pry it loose.

This place sounds like Joons just east of Palmerston on the south side of Bloor. It's below street level but easily visible. Joons special is the dish they cook at your table on the portable hot plate. I can vouch for the price. It's one of the best deals going if you ask me. Also, you can get refills of the apetizers.
