You can still pseudo search with google the bikeforums site although it won't be the most up to date crawled version.

Just to rub some salt into the wakestock wounds of some here my board was refinished and made all super nice looking while I was in China. So here is some extreme, but non bike porn for all of you.

On a bike related topic I'm bringing drink and smoke for tommorows ride, I also propose we ride out to the poop chute and scare ourselves to death on the hill.

Trucks are standard Randall 180s from what i know they are basically standard longboard trucks. To be honest I don't know much about the technical side of skateboarding I trade my bike knowledge with a buddy who has board/luge knowledge and it keeps us both on the road with our toys.

Its funny tricksticks make for so much fun on masonite but if I'm cruising in the city I just hate feeling like I'm on a vibrating bed.

"tricksticks"?

dude. that might be the lamest term I've heard in my entire life. congratulations.

(I agree with you on the vibration thing though)

wow man, thats the lamest term you've ever heard?

I'm actually speechless but your nerd-fu just went down a ton.

And you've obviously never hung out with PUAs, those guys can come up with a lame term for anything, but atleast they have a reason for it.

Lamest term ever is "information superhighway" ... followed closely by people who pronounce GUI "gooey."

So ... get that nasty **** tossed in the dumpster and then I of course see the pile of empty crackhead liquor cans/bottles lying all over the place. Into the dumpster they go too. It doesn't stop there though - I also found the patented crackhead homemade crack pipe and for the grand finale, the crackhead skidmarked tighty whities lying on the ground. This was pretty much the filthiest **** I've ever seen at a workplace. Oh, and they broke the bench outside the shop as well. I don't even want to think about what that scene looked like. There's an addendum to this story as well: weeks later I noticed what might be a bra lying on the ground behind the dumpster. Judging by its state of decomposition, it may have been from that same lustful freebasing night.
A while back someone on fixed gear gallery linked to some homeless people porn sight. I can't for the life of me remember the connection to bikes but it was a bit disturbing. Maybe the shop features prominently on the sight.

Here it is. Click on the Bum Porn link half way down... if you dare

Bittorrent people, check out the BBC mini series "Brain Story" (6 parts, www.torrentspy.com) ... check out the guy in part 1 whose frontal cortex is deteriorating (and the ridiculously ... absolutely amazing art he's started to produce out of nowhere).

Edit:

This is just a guy who developed a compulsion to paint one his brain started rotting away.

For those of you that have used Powergrips, how secure are they in comparison to clipless?

what are the upsides/downsides to them?

well, by long I mean longer than like 5 seconds. One of them is on mashsf.com right now, the other was posted in the video thread a long time ago.

also, just saw this in martino's blog:

While I'm not familiar with Randalls, I'd swear your trucks are mounted backwards. I've looked around and it seems the funky pin design on Randalls are different than most trucks, but they are long board specific trucks made for carving, so no they aren't backwards. Now I'm going to have to pic my sticks.
