The idea behind laying the course out is that it's virtually impossible to shortcut it. I think Keith slapped down a nice course after speaking with him last night. More... I cannot tell you. It wouldn't be fair. Looking forward to some nice shots hopefully. I can see me getting into this photography thing since getting this camera from my father-in-law..... i'm likin' it

What’s the cut off time? I’d like to grab some tomorrow, if possible.
Cheers

It does but it can't be angled away from eyes.... I know all the flash settings but the red eye doesn't always work well (three flashes?) it sucks juice 4AA's really fast in the dark. I shot my sisters wedding (they had no one) ,in an old inn (dark) and I was going through batteries pretty quickly. Long live rechargables!!!!! I did learn about slow flashes this weekend for taking pictures of fire (candles etc) I'm liking photography, and people are telling me I seem to have an eye for it.

The draw does not happen until next weekend. The 17th I think. It will be supervised by the firm of Yak, Bluff and Stallem. We needed to add a week as Paypal sales are tough. There will be more stuff added to the list as well. There will be Goldsprint's at the afterparty. We now have Wellington Brewery sponsoring with some cheap beer to quench everyone's thirst. The party will be awesome no doubt and you will also be able to purchase raffle ticket's there.

Especially not the boozed stashed under the workstation. That'll get you the knife.

hey keith, how are they going to send us tickets if we bought them via paypal? i'm sure people would like tickets in hand if they decide to go to the raffle. same price or paypal price if people decide to buy there?

Sam will be filling out the ticket's (I don't envy the carpal tunnel he will get) for all the online sales. If you want ticket in hand I guess you can either ask Sam at the party or buy em from me. Same price.

while I share your thoughts to some degree he would be hard pressed to stay with the fast geared guys on a fixie. As is so often said here... Road Bike FTW!

TRaffic Jammer 09-08-06 10:28 AM

FTW but not FTRace

Yep, doing them as they come in to avoid having to break a wrist the day before, paypal emails go into a folder, entries go on a spread sheet, then to the ticket so it's just name & city on the ticket. copy/paste + 75wpm typing vs childlike scrawled addresses on (hopefully) hundreds of tickets.

spread that link around...maybe it's not in your best winning interests;) but blame the airlines, we need$$

tell your non-cycling friends & family that if they win they're free to give you the prizes!

Shiznaz 09-08-06 10:53 AM

I don't have a geared bike. I guess I could beat up Mitch and take his though.

cavernmech 09-08-06 11:16 AM

Totally off topic I just had to share this. My buddy/customer brought in his pimped out Cervelo R3 this morning. I put it on the digi scale for him. With a heart rate monitor computer on it it weighed 12.3 lbs. beat him up and ride that. DAMN!
