Good Morning;

I am writing to you to express some concerns that our branch has regarding our janitors. Some of the staff have candies on their desk for their clients and for several weeks we have suspected that the janitors have been helping themselves to these treats. Although this is a minor thing we feel it is inappropriate, so much so that we have started locking up the candy dishes.

In addition to this, this past weekend our janitors took it upon themselves to remove posters (hockey)from the walls of two of our staff members offices. Also, on Friday we had served cake to our customers and had left the remaining cake covered in our lunch room to serve to our Saturday clients however, when the Saturday staff arrived they reported that a large piece of the cake was missing.

Although these things may not seem important we feel that we should not have to lock our items up and in addition we feel that it is not up to the janitorial staff to take it upon themselves to remove items from walls and/or desks.

I have contacted Area Manager to express our concerns. He has stated that he will investigate, however, he did not seem overly concerned. In fact, he insinuated that it might be someone else (abm servicing staff)but he was informed that we do not have third party service.

Although these instances may seem small, we feel that they require immediate attention and must be resolved.
