Its a depressing thought, but I honestly have to say, if I didn't have a group like this to commiserate with, I might not be cycling today... Being a 'lone victim' is a hell of a lot worse than being in a community of victims. Its good to know you're all out there fighting the good fight

So who is C.Ming tonite? Should I pack an extra layer for park beers afterwards? Mmmmmmmmm.....beer. Maybe we can rock the Central Tech running track for some impromtu "Urban Keirin"

I'm sure this has been asked 10 000 times, but I can't be bothered to go through 531 pages, so I will ask again. I live downtown, I have a mountain bike and a road bike, and I'm thinking of going fixed too (if you have two bikes, why not three?). The problem is I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on it.
I have an old Raleigh 3 speed internal hub bike which is sweet, but I just read that it uses 650cc wheels, and I'd need a new crank, etc etc. I have a nice extra set of wheels that I could use, though I'd need the Surly Fixxer, so I could do a frame build up job... I've looked at Urbane, and they have a nice frame, but it's pretty expensive. $450 for the frame and fork. Once I start buying the rest I'm getting into the price range of a new one from Specialized or Bianchi. Any other ideas? Ideally (sorry this is long) I'd like to get a bike that I can either run SS or Fixed, that has brakes, and is 61cm or thereabouts. David. |

TMI ahead... (btw, is there a spoler tag on this messageboard?) Gah, it was only my first threesome, and it wasn't that great even (I spent most of the time with the one guy and then I went home after with him) :o |
Seems they are over rated.

most disappointing description of a threesome ever...
Where are nana and little suzy and rover? What about the famous Voltaire's fist maneuver? You gotta go for the gusto! |

Yeah well don't feel too bad. I was going westbound on Bloor and taking the lane since I was about to turn Left on StG. Going the speed of traffic (which wasn't very fast) And this asshat behind me layed on his horn.
I gave him an earful when I slowed down and pulled up besides his window. I yelled so loud he looked like he was stunned by a flashbang. I'm in. May or may not make the start point in time though. CT track+beer action sounds fun. |

Same boat... single layer Neoprene and tackified palms perferably. PS. Rob, you got one crazy yell... I remember when you went ape at a dude outside of the st. george subway entrance because you almost walked into eachother or something. That was like 2 years ago... |
