You couldn't stand getting a deal on a brooks so you had to buy 2! Where are the savings Wes?

Someone sent me an incriminating photo of Somnambulant from the ride to Montreal we did. I of course did my part and made it look even worse. Here you go:

Edit: Yes, it's just begging to be shopped. Clean lines for all to have at it.

I count about $275 in savings between the two saddles. One will possibly be flipped on ebay as I can't totally justify owning it. But then again.. <3

Anyone interested in a spirited ride this week? Perhaps with spirits at the end of the ride, or even in the middle? I'm sick of doing my commute and nothing else and before the slush comes I figure we should all get together and have some fun.

So whose in? What day? Where to? I leave this all to the power of the forum, for I do not feel like making another decision today.

Thats the way that my mom's friend that works at Holt Renfrew's thinks. I remember visiting her place with my mom ages ago and she said "I JUST SAVED 2000 DOLLARS!" having just spent 3000 dollars on discounted stuff at Holts.

While I secretly break this rule, I only consider something to be a saving if you have already determined the product, price and quantity of what you want. So if you want your trendy blue shirt from the gap and its 50 percent off, so you buy 2, you just saved NOTHING! Way to contribute to Mike's payroll, jerk!

Who said I didn't want the saddles? Just because you don't want a Ti brooks doesn't mean I don't want one (ed: or TWO!). Maybe I bought a blue shirt AND a grey shirt because hey, I'd use them both. The swift immediately went onto my road bike, where I intended to put a Brooks (since it's my long-distance bike), and the Swallow could potentially go onto a blingy track build I have in mind. Plus the fact of the matter is, as I said, if I decide to do so I could easily make $150 - $200 by turning around and selling the Swallow, which would cover what I paid for the Swift PLUS a nice profit.

You know recently I've been seriously considering doing something like what the night owl couriers do in Frisco. Do any of the folks with tendrils in the messenger industry know if there are night/off hour courier companies operating in Toronto right now??

velodrome talk:
I want to go again. Last time I chatted with Mike @ ForestCity he said with a minimum of 4 people per class we could take over the place on a Friday and do track 1 in the morning and then the combo in the afternoon. That would give everyone a chance to be caught up to the same level (plus we'd have the place to ourselves). But, of course, that would require many of us to take a day off work. I'm willing to do so however.

The other issue with the standard Saturday time is that it's only once a month and tends to fill up WAY in advance in the Winter.

Here's the schedule: https://www.forestcityvelodrome.ca/comeriderace.html

Because I'm a big nerd I made a little poll on this free poll site, go vote if you're interested in one more than the other: https://snappoll.com/poll/141011.php

I'm in for track if I can get the day off, which if I have forewarning is almost for sure, if there is room in a car tell me where and when to be. I have track 1 but need the others.

PS: Wes does your nerdom extend to watching Battlestar Galactica? I need to discuss the third season with someone without feeling like I'm a total and complete freak job

hahahah.. sounds like we're going to have to start doing a regular BSG meetup. Just one thing about last night's episode as I don't want to clog the thread with off-topic nerdy banter: the part where galactica jumped into the planet's atmosphere in freefall, launched the vipers and then jumped out again? That was totally badass.

Followed by the everybody-bail-ship-collision course of the Pegasus. The cherry on top was the fragment that shot off the side of it and blew up the second base star. My roommate beat me to it when he yelled "AFTERTOUCH TRICK SHOT TAKEDOWN!!!!!"
