Well, it appears to need a bit of work but I'll get you over for a cup of mud once I've got it fixed up and dialed in. It may be a bit of an older one so I need to check the temperature on it and the seals etc.

Now I need to create a coffee altar in my kitchen for it.

i wouldn't worry about the age; those machines seem to last forever. any price paid for those is a deal based on the amount of time it will last.

can i suggest velvet ropes, insence (sp), and an oil painting of it sitting in the altar?

Bought a Trek Sonic 2006 helmet, 40% off. Fits nice and less uncool than my present cheapo Raleigh. All I was looking for really.

Too bad it's too small for me, I have 3 1" threaded forks begging to be used.

did you happen to see the new trek track / SS complete bike they had in there? looked pretty nice (despite the rear brake cable being held to the frame with zip ties). the kona "paddy wagon" looks like a nice complete bike as well. i saw one locked up on front street complete with rack and fenders; nice design.

i'd say yes to the beard but i may have to go on job interviews soon so i can't promise anything. yes to beers though.

why do i have no responses from my scotch tasting proposition?

I can only have one Pint or two of stout soooo me buying a 26er does not make much sense but it sounded like a fun idea

Tovi, I suggest a good old missed connection....

edit: of all things Apple why does it need to be so damn hard to get the memory access panel open on my G4...ugh

you're not supposed to drink the whole bottle in one night; i think the idea is that you do a sampling and then take home the leftovers as a doggy bag.

Most of the Scotch I have is beyond the price range suggested, some of it a fair bit so, so if we were doing the swap, I'd need to buy a bottle. I also need to double check the dates. I should be back in town by the 29th, but I can't recall off the top of my head.

Needless to say, I catch up to her and strike up a conversation, but I mean there's only so much you can say when you're trying to pay attention to her and make sure you don't get run over at the same time.

Does anybody know this girl? Is she on this forum? If so, I want her phone number. I don't know if it was a proper fixie or a conversion, but the bike was definately olive-green, didn't have any decals, looked pretty old, but had a nice and shiny Brooks B17 (or Professional). Oh, and blond hair. And she can really move.

Someone help me out!

I think you were trippin'. No such girl exists! ;)

well, we can do it without the swap; i just thought it would be a neat idea.

Man, I'm as shocked as you are. Although I swear this rendezvous happened *before* I polished a bottle of Jagermeister, it is possible I was temporarily in some parralel universe... some sick joke played by the cycling gods

I liked the Paddy Wagon, didn't see the Trek. Was a few nice ladies in tights that kept leaning over to check out derailers and the like. I get distracted easily.
