my first day as a messenger i wake up to thunder and lightning, all the power in my neighborhood is out, snow falling from the sky shaped like pancakes, a little rain, and some serious wind for the ride home. It was one of the best days of my life! thanks again for the recommendation dan!

Daaaaamn it's windy out. I just went west on Bloor, and struggled all the way. I do look forward to the ride back, but with the gusts being so unpredictable, and me being a little tipsy, it could be quite the adventure.

I found out this morning my wife and I miscommunicated and she is going to be out tomorrow night as well , so I'm not sure if I'll even be going. (I feel weird being out while she's out as well and the kids' are at home...old enough to be by themselves together, but still feel odd...you know?) All is up in the air, and wave 'em like you just don't care.

When we used to be kids there was nothing better than the 'rents being out of the house ... !

I can think of one... out of the house with an expected return time!

i prefered having a set return time so that i could clean up the mess and get the girls out of the house.

Or try an unexpected return time if you want to mess with their heads... yes! There are so many practical jokes you can play on unsuspecting kids it boggles the mind.

13, She watches her sister after school, so no worries there.

Good to watch over for an in/out mid-day maybe not hours in the evening. We got lucky with a 16 Y/O 1 door down she has two younger siblings so we are good to go when necessary!

time is creeping up on me; i just realized that the bike show is next week! i'm off on fridays, so methinks i'll be banging on the trade show doors at 11:59.

He came by our booth to look around, super swell guy.

i've been looking forward to the bike show all year, but it turns out that i have to go to a training on the saturday, and since i'm not able to keep my one of my jobs, 13 bucks sounds like a lot to me... so i might be SOL

Also, still not even sure if I can make the show. If there is an extra tix I would use it, otherwise the more worthy deserve them.

The most ironic thing is that, i'm paying about $10 just for the trip downtown.
