First of all I'm outside EVERY day even yesterday not just when it's "nice". Gee whilakers. Secondly in reference to your last comment here's a little word jumble for you: chuck you farley. (the extra emoticons are there to ensure that it is understood I mean these comments purely in jest)

What about telling a very elderly woman to "GET OF YOUR ****ING PHONE"? Not that I did that. Hypothetical question. ahem.

You did clean it out I think. I couldn't find anything good in there!

I did get some stuff for a decent deal though. A set of GP3000's and a set of Pro2 race, for a decent price and 2fers on Open pro rims.

On the way home I bailed on the black ice and put my first scratch on wheels that haven't even been built yet Fortunately I didn't bend them and it's not on the braking surface so I'm not too upset.

Bikes: IRO Mark V, Specialized Stumpy

Vaste Aire, Aesop Rock, Byata, Ras Kass, Vordul Mega, Cannibal Ox, La The Darkman, Company Flow, Deltron 3030, RA Tha Rugged Man, MF Doom and Quasimodo are all at the top of my list as far as hip-hop/rap goes.

Can't believe it's finally bike show day. I'm so crazy tired. Last night I was out walking the dog and the second I stepped out, I knew something bad was gonna go down. Sure enough within five minutes I watched these kids that had originally raised my spidey senses have a shoot out about 30 feet from me. Ended up at the police station giving statements until 3am. Gave notice this morning when I woke up. Two police interviews for two shootings inside of three months is a touch more than I'm willing to bare.

Bike show on the other hand was wicked. Picked up a Catlike Kompact t'day One item short of filling my list though. Was hoping to get a new pair of shoes. Anyone know where I might get a better deal on Sidi Dominator or Eagle shoes than MEC (https://www.mec.ca/Products/product_l...172957786357)? I've recently realized I'm wearing almost ten year old shoes so I believe it's time to splurge.

Bikes: gt gtb & marinoni pista special.

I'm also currently on the lookout for Sidi dominators.
I've only had time to check out Dukes and they were $225 there.

Also, anyone know what shop carries the chrome shants? I'm interested in a comparison and also to see how the chammy is like.

Lots of sweet deals on bikes...no big surprise. Rubino Pros for $20..not bad. Pizza slice and pop...$9....not so good. Crazy deals on shoes...some as cheap as $20. Dominators are gonna be hard to find cheaper than MEC. Anyone see the Lightweight Carbon wheels at LaBicicletta...those things are crazy. Ultegra Bar ends for $1!! Damn!! Score of the day.

New mtn bike for me... woot!

Adidas shoes: I think Cycle Therapy has some.
Chrome stuff: Curbside

Cavernmech: yeah, I saw the lightweights (and all the ZIPP wheels at Wheels of Bloor). My comment: "baddest ass wheels on the planet". Poor Unibet gets sponsored by them and then gets ****ed by ASO. What a sorry state pro cycling is in.

Those sidi dominators are $205 CAD shipped from probikekit. The MEC ones are $290 with tax. However once it crosses the border you're looking at $5 brokerage + 14% tax on that $205 and i'm not sure about duties...

I think shiznaz ordered Sidis from PBK before, don't remember how that went though. Also if it clears up there's a total lunar eclipse tonight.

Partial started at 3:44 with total around 5-6pm. It'll get better as it gets darker, assuming you can see it.

Those wheels were SICK! I also noticed that the spokes were tied which looked pretty sweet and organic.

Yeah, that's what I figured - that the Dominators wouldn't really get much cheaper than MEC. And since my last pair of shoes lasted a decade I can't really complain. I'm just still bummed that I had a pair in my hand that were like $200 at the show and they were one size too small.

those carbon wheels are awsome to look at. the guy at the L.B. booth told me that they are actually not team issue because they're too light (the team uses the easton ones instead). i have some photos that i'll post.

Well the good news is if you subscribe the the theory of lamarckism your feet will eventually grow smaller to fit in those shoes with use.

MEC dominator mega's are 249 + taxage

If anyone is still heading out there, I'll buy a beer for anyone who picks up a pair of 700cc Rubino Pros for me in red 23mm width if they're there at $20 each. I can't get out to the show this weekend PM me.

Oh yeah...the megas are the same as regular Domis but for wide feet. I have a canoe like foot and found em to be wayyyy to wide for me. You gotta be Fred Flintstone to fit in those.

I also noticed those lightweights. I was also around at the end of the night and noticed the owner personally carrying them home himself. Guess nobody's leaving those laying around overnight security or not!

Speaking of security- save your receipts! I hadn't really bothered since most places are "all sales final" and then when I went to leave security gave me a hassle. Thankfully I happened to have it stuffed in my pocket. No way I was leaving without my stuff anyhow.

For 10g you could get one of those cool bike-car things.

I saw the red "racing" one out on Commissioners late one night in Decemberish. It's got a nice HID light right up front that really grabs your attention!
