Old Aluminum Cinellis are 26.4. Steel Cinellis (which are even older) are 25.4. Charlie you can borrow my Cinelli Criterium bars and Cinelli 9cm stem if you want. They are really close to pista drops in shape, just a bit shallower.

Nice! No worries. Yeah I saw that Aquila. So nice. I REALLY want the mint NOS silver Gios SLX road frame they got there behind the counter. I want it so bad. I would ride the **** out of that thing.

Yeah, that Aquila has been there for ages, at least a couple of years now so I bet you could talk him down. If you want to peep some gorgeous track metal, you should have ridden a couple blocks north of Racer Sportif to High Park Cycles. The owner is nuts but he has crazy sweet stuff, my fav being a peach coloured Colnago track/pursuit frame made of SLX. Nutty.

If anyone has a 1" threaded quill stem in 26.0, preferably with a removable faceplate and preferably with some rise that I can borrow for the weekend I would be grateful. Or if you have cinelli drop bars I can borrow.. or nitto drop bars... Oh boy..
If you are in dire staits, I have a 1" threaded with removable face plate with some rise you can borrow for Sat. I can switch stems for a few days if needed.

Thanks but don't worry about it. Dan's got me covered and he is my ride anyways so I will have to buy him many beers before the drive home

Oh yeah I know Jan and his zaniness. I know the exact frame you are talking about too. It's awesome! Actually, I think I like this Rossin he has even better, its white on the front then it goes green, orange, pink or something like that. I was going to buy it from him actually but I got a good deal on my Lejeune instead (a purchase which I do NOT regret ) He also has a red Hardwick (British) complete track bike. It is beautiful and also my size. Jan seems to like me for some reason. He's been really nice to me every time I've gone in there. I've even bought a couple of things from him, like the 25.4 clamp stem with 22.0 (French) insertion diameter that I had such a hard time finding...

Hoping my rapore with Jan the man will rub off on you a bit there, eh buddy-o?
If you're serious I'd be totally up for that. I'm guessing a saturday would be a good choice. I'll be by tomorrow night, assuming regular safety-related festivities are in order as per usual. I expect nothing less than intruging intrigue. I'm pretty sure that was redundantly redundant. ROCK AND ROLL

How about some 'velofoam' before hitting the velodrome? "Foam" as in beer foam. Hell yeah.

For the tiny tootsie folk out there. I have a pair of older Sidi road shoes in a size 42. They are in fine shape and have Look pattern adaptors on em. Free to the first taker.

Is that equivalent to a men's 9? And you mean to use with toe clips/straps/look style cleat? If so I'll bite.

I dont know what the conversion is. The plate on them now are for Look cleats but I am pretty certain I have cage cleats around here somewhere (these have a slot that engages over the back edge of the pedal cage and hold the shoe VERY firmly in the clip/strap). You can try em on manana if you want.

I think its about a 9.5-10ish.

I wear 10.5 and use 43.5 in Look sizes.
