Oh man those Canadian Tire motorcycle bikes weighed like 40 pounds each! What a ridiculous idea. That guy was really mad at us for riding them through the store.
Hey Canice just out of curosity what are 'tams'? Is that a regular part of vintage golfer attire? |
Impressive/mundane moment: Stage 5 of the Giro, shot of Paulo Bettini with his right Sidi hanging out of his mouth (?!). Apparently his cleat had come loose, so he just took it off and kept up w/ the peloton pedaling one-footed while the mechanic in his team car tightened it up. Then he took it back and casually put it back on at speed (no holding onto the team car for this move).
Hello, massive dental bill if I tried that maneuver. |

not that i'm discouraging their being reinvented as bike polo mallets. |

I am looking to buy a fixed gear wheelset, specifically, mavic cxp22s laced to formula hubs. I would prefer to get them built locally, by a good wheelbuilder, rather than take my chances with eBay. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should go, and how much they will probably cost?

On a related note: Are Marinoni bikes custom? I always thought they were, but the site seems to suggest that they are not. |

Marinoni...used to be all hand attention all the time, but the latter part of the 20th century took care of that. While some customs can still be had, I believe it's mass made now. Not to knock what comes off the line now, but the old stuff was killer. You couldn't throw a rock in MTL in the 80's without knockin' someone off their 'Noni
