Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I love the paint schemes on Opus bikes. Their 2005 site is entirely flash, so it's hard to get a decent picture:

Wow I really like the paint colors on the Opus Staccato. The green is nice.

Too bad they only come with Shimano. A bike that nice begs for Campagnolo.

For some reason I can't post the pic. That's a really nice bike with the Chorus group and FSA 600 aero wheels.

It's so overwrought I kind of dig it. I'm normally into more of the classic road bike look but this is just ridiculous.

It's just this paint scheme, I'm not so hot on the others.

Thanks for the photo, but for some reason I can't appreciate their paint schemes.

I have got to go with the Cervélo R2.5. The carbon looks so sweet, and supposedly it rides like no one's business.

Hmmmmm....that's about it, I reckon. I can't find anything else worth posting

Ciocc, Coppi and Wilier always put out sexy bikes but their websites are a bit crappy and/or annoying to use, so I can't find any good pictures.

IMO Schumacher is a greater sportsman than Lance. He's boring as hell, and I'm loving the way he's having trouble this season, but he's the greatest F1 driver that ever lived. Lance is just 'one' of the greats.
Most Americans don't really know him, but the cycling forum is a little different due to it's international flavor.

I do think he is the best Formula 1 driver ever....the master of pushing a 900 hp beast on the rain second to none. When others struggle with spinning their cars out on water he's going 2 seconds a lap faster.

His concentration is relentless and even when he is losing he is always driving at the limit hoping the guy in front of him makes a mistake. He's won a few races like that just becasue he never gave up and something happened to the #1 car's massive lead.

Then that season where he broke both his legs. I thought he was going to be a more conservative driver after that close call.....Nope he went on to win 4 straight World championships. Near death didn't slow him down at all.

Back on track with this thread. I don't like those wheels at all. I'll take some Zipps on conventiobnal hubs (Campagnolo/Chris King/DT swiss, etc) thank you very much.

Make the R1000 the best looking noncustom that retails for under 2000.00. The Seven's paint jobs are butt ugly.
