how well would something that hideous actually ride? material?
It's probably as stiff a frame as you can get. I'm sure.

But, I dig the square tubing the most. As for how stiff it is... I imagine not unbearably so. If I remember correctly, the diameter of the cross-section would have a greater impact on stiffness than the shape of the cross-section (at least when you're talking about squares v. circles v. ellipses).

That's one of their downhill frames.
I like their road frame. I doubt it is heavy, but it definitely has character.
I checked on the price of the Argon Road Frame. 799 pounds sterling (UK). Whatever that works out to in US dollars....$1300?

Personally I love the look of unfinished welds if they're done well.

I just love the square tubing and the recessed drop-outs.
Does Anybody know how much 800 pounds (UK currency) translates into American dollars?

okay, Khuon gets some extra points for his A-Team comment regarding the McGeyver-esque welds on that Nicolai (what were they thinking "Uhh, so just like the other bikes, but for bigger tires -right boss?" "Whoa, this is our lightest frame yet! Only 7 pounds, those roadies will be impressed")
