Bike Forums ads on mobile
I don't know where else to put this, so I'm putting it here in hopes mods see it. The ads on bike forums are beyond excessive when I'm on mobile. When I load a page, more than half the time I'm redirected to download an app based game. If I refresh, same thing, if I leave a page idle, same thing. I have to close the App Store, go back one page on the browser, and reload what I was trying to read, and even then I'm often hit with a pop up ad. I get that keeping a domain name costs money but this is so in the way of using the website I can barely use it. If this keeps up I'm not sure I'll be able to stay in BF, since the ads seem to be increasing in volume.

Are you logged in when on mobile? I don't get any ads at all.
Also, make sure you have Block Popups turned on.

In iOS, go to Settings --> Safari, and turn on blocks popups.
In Android, if using Chrome, just go to the settings while in Chrome and turn on black popups and see if that helps.

I have the same forced-AppStore problem on my iOS devices and I do have popups in Safari blocked. Annoying enough that it is driving me away to other forums.
I do think disabling JavaScript will keep it from happening, but then that affects other desirable content from rendering properly.

Yeah. SUPER annoying.
You could pay $12/year or $20/2 years for premium membership and not see any ads, ever. I had the trial going, but when it lapsed, bikeforums became completely impossible on the iphone.

Yep. The more aggressive advertising becomes, the more people will be driven to block it (IMO). Some sites look like billboards for advertisers with content buried somewhere in the ad.
I don't have a problem with turning my blocker off on BF as the ads are not invasive (and I don't get redirects), but if there were actual redirects, that is different.

Same issue here.. but seems somewhat recent. It's horrible. I thought for a while that I was accidentally hitting some link when scrolling pages that was launching to new pages.. At least it's good to find I"m not as clumsy as I was thinking I was.
