Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Okay, I read through it quickly and deemed that it is not full of win. Sorry Billy.

It is however a few meatheads arguing, which is always entertaining.

I've seen quite a few QR skewers arrive in the shop in the open position. Tightened down using the lever as an winding handle. The customer gets a quick lesson in proper QR procedure.

Oddly, I have seen that in my own family despite the training I have provided.

I've also seen the lever so tight that I think a hammer was used to get it closed.

Top notch entertainment, at that. How many times have you said to yourself "You can't make this **** up"?

I could start a thread notifying everyone that you are being critical of members and they should report to the Addiction thread.

It was of those multiple life events on top of one another situation. Filling fell out right before my last semester of college, tore my ACL a month after graduation, got a job about a month after surgery, so many months into the job, the wife decides we should save and buy a house, so I put basically everything off until that was fully sorted. And here we are.

I braved the crowds at Dutch Bros to get nine stars on a loyalty card instead of the customary one. There were five cars behind me in line and another six in the other ordering line and, unfortunately, the way the lanes were set up, each had to cut across the other in order to get back onto the street. The whole process was generally orderly and quick, the other drivers must have become previously caffeinated because they were polite, but I could just imagine how chaotic it all probably was this morning before people had their first cuppa joe.
