Does this seem like a fare price?56 Cannondale SuperSix Campy 11speed

Seems a little steep but not unreasonable. It's a pre "EVO" nomenclature so looks like pre 2012. The Campy stuff and the wheels might make it well worth it. (Plus the description "like new" if that's truly the case)

You could get a 2015 105 series for under $2K and maybe even a 2016, both of which would be great bikes.

It's a 2013. It has the matte finish. The 12 is glossy. 12s were also 10 speed.

I think the price seems fair but it's not a screaming deal.

If you are, I would break it down and sell it by piece. You would sell it all quickly. Frame might take the longest, but there is plenty of buyers out there looking for that. I got $850 for my 2012 supersix frameset

I think $1900 for that is a great deal.

I feel like the wheels and components are nicer than the frame which would be off putting to me for some reason. Like I would need to upgrade the frame

I feel the same. Although this frame is super stiff. I like that about it. Its nearly new only a couple hundred miles on it. This was going to be my Nine Bike.

I'm all for n+1 but it seems like to me you already have an awesome back up bike. In fact, it's better than most people's main bike. I mean if you have the cash to lose on "upgrading" a back up bike then by all means go for it but it seems silly to me.

My honest opinion is that it's tough to price because it's not a stock bike that Cannondale offers so it's hard to compare it to msrp/new price etc. I have sold way too many bikes and parted out bikes since I started riding about 5 years ago since I can never make up my mind as to what I want. My opinion is that your asking price is not insane but also keep in mind that on CL people are always going to try to severely low ball you (like 50%). I would research on ebay sold auctions and get an idea of what you would realistically get if you parted the bike out on ebay. Add it all up and set your price based on that. If you want to sell on CL, add at least 25% to how much you are willing to accept. You do live in a hot market where people over pay for bikes so that's in your favor. I would at least give it a month or so trying to sell complete bike locally as long as you don't need the money to pay rent or something. Put the bike on Ebay for local pick up only, buy it now with best offer. Ebay generally gets many more eyeballs and it's much smoother but you do have to pay fees so factor that in. I have had several bad CL experiences lately and won't sell there anymore myself. People on CL low ball you, negotiate over email/text and agree and then try to offer you a few hundred less in person and waste your time. I've sold local pick up on ebay and people pay with paypal, you get your money up front and they just pick it up and your done. It does take patience to sell a complete bike sometimes so give it a month or more if you can and then part is out if you so wish. But realistically it will be a pain to get the same money back if you are going to sell stem, seatpost, saddle, bars etc indiviually

I have a SuperSix EVO so I wanted to try something different, material or shape. Thats the reason for the sale, mostly anyway. It is a nice bike and I know its over kill for a rain bike. It was suppose to be my main until my LBS gave me the deal I couldn't pass on my EVO.

That paint scheme looks nothing like anything Cannondale put out in 2013. It is a 2012 SuperSix 6 Apex (10sp).

OP - The bike came equipped with Apex components, so it has been upgraded (Cannondale does not equip its bikes with Campy). The Chorus components and better wheels would upgrade it to roughly the same level as SRAM Force/ Shimano Ultegra (no offense to Campy fan boys out there who would disagree), so about the same as a 2012 Supersix 3. The value of a 2012 Supersix 3 in new condition is around $1900. Given that it is obviously not new, it should be worth between $1200 to $1800 depending on the condition.

If the bike looks good, I would offer on the low end and go as high as you feel comfortable if you really like the bike - again bearing in mind that it is an entry level carbon bike with a new MSRP of $2000 that has been upgraded. Of course, those components are now nearly 4 years old, so you can't put a new value on them. I personally would not go more than $1500, the seller is asking for its max value in my opinion.

ETA - also remember that although Cannondale has a killer frame, the lifetime warranty is not transferable. Have you considered buying a new bike? My Cannondale dealer has his 2015 bikes on sale right now. He has Supersix EVO 5's in stock (Shimano 105 11sp) and is closing them out for $1700 (five of them are 56cm). It may be worth looking into with your dealer.
