That's the forecast for tomorrow's CX race here.

It was a perfect day for a CX event:

The weirdest moment from today's race; there were at least half a dozen photographers (real photographers, not folks with iPhones) at the barriers taking pictures.

It did not rain at our CX race today, but there were other hazards.

The twisty, heavily rooted section was diabolical.

I did get to use the big ring for a bit on this stretch of gravel leading down to the paved start/finish area.

Lookin' good.

It's 6:00 PM here and we are up to 4 kids so far. :(

rjones28 watch that skewer!

Just kidding, looking good. :thumb:

Are we there yet?

datlas 10-31-15 05:56 PM

We went out to dinner with some friends and left a big bowl of candy at the front door with a sign that said "Take Two."

We came back to an empty bowl. Mrs datlas said "wow, we never had so many trick-or-treaters!!" I told her it was probably just a few greedy kids.

At least 25 kids so far. 8:00 pm.

Bailey wants me to tape rulers to his legs, so he can trick or treat as a normal dog.

Trsnrtr 10-31-15 06:02 PM

We're up to 12 kids (7:00 PM)

So many things to celebrate, thought I'd try something different. I'd highly recommend, very tasty.:thumb:

Anyway, November 1 here already. Start of the new randonneuring/Audax Australia season here and there is a ride today. Only 100km, and we covered much of the course a fortnight ago. It was mighty windy then, but it's a beautiful bright, sunny, calm day today.

You missed the live broadcast???
