OCD? Rounding out your mileage for a ride

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am using an app on my phone to record my mileage this year (no paper log). Before a (phone) software upgrade a few weeks ago, the GPS was shaving 5-10% off my miles every ride. That never bothered me until bad weather made it look like I might miss my goal. I guess I just have the one "goal compulsion". Thankfully 2000 miles isn't so hard a task for me at this time.

I did 77 miles last Saturday and that bothered the hell out of me because I had a slow leak, no more CO2, and had to go straight home so couldn't tack on 3 miles to get to 80.

Anyone else notice themselves doing something like this? I do something similar with time on the trainer, need to finish on a multiple of 10 minute increments.
When I was a noob I did. Haven't done so for a long time... I don't even have distance on the first page of my data fields. Solo'd 101 miles on Saturday and sensed no disturbance in the force.

But I hear the drugs to enhance one's sense of humor are quite benign.

Only because they're an Iron Pill Placebo, because it's not real; contrary to popular Vintage beliefs.
