Since it's unseasonably warm, I decided to take the boy out on a walk/balance bike trip around one of the local lakes. Now, my boy can go from, "no, I don't have to go to the bathroom," to "IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" in about 27 seconds, so, of course, his need to pee red alert kicked in when we were absolutely as far away from a restroom/portapotty as you can be on Lake Calhoun. So I had to run... for about a mile. In jeans and flat, canvas shoes. Did I mention that running is stupid?
