Eating a bit of breakfast within half an hour of waking up helps to jump start the metabolism.

Me too, @Heathpack.

Skilled trades bring out the best in people. Many times with good reason. That wide brush he used proves he's not a very good painter.

Well obviously I don't literally hate mechanics. I do very much dislike dealing with them though since having to deal with one means a) my main transportation is broken and b) I'm about to have to shell out big bucks. Much like people don't like dealing with their tax accountant.

People just generally don't like doing maintenance. Doesn't matter if it's their bike, car, house, or finances.

In a related story, today is bike maintenance day. It's going to be nice and warm again, so I'm taking the work stand outside.

I just call it eating some toast with butter on it, but what you call it has a certain ring to it too.

Still recovering from RFTW. Tomorrow will be back to 3.7, then 10 on Sunday, and back to the full training schedule next week.

Decker Challenge 13.1 is 12/6, so long runs are going to transition to 14 miles next weekend.

One day that's gonna be a mighty nice christmas tree.

Did I mention that this year's Rockefeller Center christmas tree was selected from a property about 5 miles from me? #communitypride

Same with doctors and dentists. Typically, seeing them means I'm not having a particularly good day.

I was going to say that, but we have a doctor in the room...

I'm going to go with D.

All four lie tons, though.

RPK79 11-05-15 02:31 PM

I'm surprised mechanic wasn't on the list. ;)

BillyD 11-05-15 03:03 PM

Lawyer, without a doubt. It's part of their hippocratic oath. (Now just watch Pcad pop in unexpectedly in 3 ... 2 ... 1. )
