Bengals have a "thing" for rubber, cords...etc..

He is a cute, high maintenance, little sucker.

I used to have a cat with a thing for bartape. He got over it after the bike landed on him a couple of times!

The cat we have now is a cord destroyer. Her death toll so far: two phone chargers and I think three sets of earbuds.

I guess that's better than the furniture destroying cats I've had.

The last Bengal loved electrical cords...I used to paint them with hot sauce, yet I'd find some chewed into the conductor. He had to have shocked himself.

The funny part is that Herbie's meme had me rolling around with laughter because it reminds me of one particularly nasty piece of work in that forum. He makes a habit of taking a perfectly nice conversation and crapping all over it, then strutting around as though he's proud of it.

I think I may have to do something incredibly stupid this morning...

I try to do something stupid every morning but running isn't one of them.

Our boy cat has a thing for cords and wires, too, though he most often chews on them to manipulate us - if we're still in bed when his breakfast time rolls around, he knows that chewing on the cords on my wife's side of the bed will piss us off to get moving.

lol! i wonder if air came rushing out and scared the crap out of him

i dont particularly like cats, but i think "nanny" cams on cats when noones home could be very entertaining, theyre such strange creatures and get themselves into hilarious types of situations

Trsnrtr 11-05-15 06:56 AM

I had a beagle when I was young that used to chase the ironing cord as it flipped back and forth when my mother ironed. He bit into it once and ran through the house peeing all the way. :D

I have been meat free since age 20. But ovo-lacto, so dairy/eggs are kosher. No animal flesh.

Only 6.8 here, but it was a soupy mess out there. I thought we'd be done with humid, muggy, warm mornings a month ago.

Sometimes I've done as many as six stupid things before breakfast.

I eat breakfast immediately after getting up. It reduces the number of stupid things I do before breakfast.

BillyD 11-05-15 08:40 AM

I have no appetite immediately after getting up.

Takes me a good hour or so to feel hungry.

I'm still in the 2-3 range, and today was an off day.

I don't like to eat immediately. My wife gave me breakfast in bed once when we first met and I had to tell her that I appreciated the effort, but not to do it again since I can't eat without moving around a little first.

In the warm months just getting up ironing my clothes and making breakfast is enough time. In the winter months we get up and go to the gym in the morning first thing.

datlas 11-05-15 09:15 AM

I know it's idiosyncratic, but I love to eat a good breakfast first thing in the morning. Typically it's a fruit yogurt and a banana. I love omelettes, french toast, pancakes, etc. but too lazy to make them generally.
