I think cadence is genetic. I'm working towards the 98-ish area, that's for sure. Tomorrow, the drill is to do 3x10 Zone 3 at over 110. I find it brutal. But, my 4 hour Z2 ride was 94 average, so it's getting there. |

I guess I should have mentioned the part about the daughter, SIL, and three granddaughters. :)

No son. Two daughters and four granddaughters. It's an estrogen fest.

Celebrity. In that middle range, we like it the best. Haven't tried Holland America, but Princess wasn't quite as nice.

Not as bad as those filthy Flying Canadian Rats. How in the heck geese are still federally protected is way beyond me.
But actually, geese don't run into your car. And they don't eat up your ornamentals and veggies either. And they don't spread lyme-disease carrying deer ticks. So there's that. |

I think cadence is genetic. The trike for the dog has 140 cranks ( I measured them). I can get it to 160 rpm any time. I've hit 200 rpm once and 195 a few times. Also important is that sitting up straight on the seat keeps your butt down on the saddle. Also a heavy bike stays still better at high rpm. And, a trike gives you a heavy and solid non tipping platform. That helps too. Low gearing means the traveling speed is low, which means the bike/trike does not bounce around as much. |
canadian geese are federally protected in the US? didnt know that.
sounds like an international problem |
Silly thread got locked? That's serious.

Just got a MagicShine copy light from China via EBay. The thing is wicked bright and dirt cheap. Even if it only lasts a year it's a great value at under $18 shipped.
