I was concerned about reaching a daily spend limit on my debit card today since I'm buying my glasses as well as paying for a hotel room and drinks. So, I called my bank to ask if there was a limit. They told me yes it is is $10,000. Why bother putting a limit at all if it's going to be so ridiculously high?

So they can charge you an insane interest rate and penalties if you can't pay it off next month.

It's a debit card. If there isn't enough money in my checking account it will get declined. I can safely say I've never had $10,000 in my checking account.

Ah, ok. Wasn't sure if it could be linked to your CC, so if you went over your current balance, it would be covered. I rarely use my debit card.
