I have a frame coming that is top pull, looking to buy a FR to go with my Red shifters and a Compact Crank. Looking at Force FD. I dont see a top pull FD from Sram's road group.
What do you suggest? I have seen the clamp on pulleys, not a huge fan but if that is the only option. MTB FD seem much heavier and a different chainring spacing.

Is the frame a cyclocross frame? I've never heard of road top pull FD. Why not just get Force 1? No front deraileur at all, problem solved

Yes, it is a cyclocross frame.
No Front Derailleur limits the number of gears and terrain i can cover. Not for cyclocross racing, just an all around bike. So i will have 11-32 and a 50-34 Sram 22. Just need to figure out the FD

SRAM force 1 and rival 1 have up to 42t cassette so you can get the same range as a compact crankset. Of course I haven't seen the groups available for sale yet. Shimano has a cyclocross top pull that might be compatible

Yes you can. They have cranksets with 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52 and 54 and a 10-42t cassette.

48/10 combo is 126 gear inches which is the same as 53/11. 48/42 is 30 gear inches, 50/32 is 41 inches. So if you have 48t crank and 10-42t you will have a wider range than any other double/compact crank set up available.

I faced the same issue when I build my CX bike with Sram Rival, so I bought Shimano Ultegra FD-CX70 and it works flawlessly (mind you it's on a 10-speed system). I don't think I've seen a top-pull Sram FD.

That's the derailleur I was recommending. I know the 11 speed Force/Red have the YAW front derailleur and I don't know if that is a different cable pull. I know the Shimano 11 speed shifters won't work with older 10 speed front deraileurs because the cable pull is different but I'm not sure if it's the same deal with SRAM

In general you can get front derails to play nice between systems. As mentioned Shimano has a wide array of top pull FDs. Their CX line specifically. I actually bought one for a cross rig I was building up a few years back and then just ended up making that one a 1x setup as well. pm me if you're interested in it.
