Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It worked fine for me this morning. Don't forget to wave and ring your bell.

Try the Zwift support forum.

Also try re downloading the program and install it again.

Yes. Now it happens about a minute after I load the richmond course, no matter if I'm in a menu, watching, riding, or just sitting. The opening menu is very slow as well.

You can uninstall Zwift and reinstall but I'm not sure if that will do any good. You can try and update your video driver.
I don't know which platform your are using but I am using desk top PCs. I had this same problem you are having on the first computer I was going to use and it would crash the computer off as soon as the map would open. This can be one of several issues. Video card or processor can't handle the strain or the power supply is bad.
Fortunately I had another computer with more horse power so I'm up and running.

I launched zwift from the program rather than a shortcut and it downloaded a patch automatically, and worked fine since. Killed myself for an hour and had one of the better rides I've ever done quality of work wise, indoor or out. I also didn't have to log in manually, which is something I've always had to do, and the app worked for the first time ever. -shrug-

Interesting. I did notice at some point in the last week I stopped having to log in each time I launched, guess that was the auto-update. Glad it's working for you, but please double-check your bell and wave functionality in the app. If they don't work it's not worth riding.

I've only been able to ride the Richmond course once since they had the update but it didn't crash on me. It did however not show laps when I passed the start/finish line which was slightly annoying.

I made sure I rang my bell and yelled at everyone I passed tonight. Which means I didn't get to yell that much.

I'm glad you found a shortcut and got it working. I'm going to try that with the other PC and see if that works.

It miraculously found its way to the side of the road, clipping through any solid objects that could cause it harm

They also function as advertised.

My bell and wave are working, but I can't use the mobile app to trigger a powerup... Anyone know how to fix that?
