Can anyone confirm that the 2017 Giant Defy will have through axles and flat mounts, as this link seems to be eluding to?

Yep, they sure will. Flat mount discs, thru axels, sold with 28mm tubeless tyres. Attached is an image of the soon to be released Defy Adv Pro 0
