Has anyone tried these, and if so what did you think?

I've had a pair for about a month now, and have a handful of indoor rides on them. I'm loving them so far. If you're looking at a Boa shoe in that price range I'd definitely recommend them. Plus the matching socks are cool.

How is the sizing? I'm a size 43 in Specialized.

My other shoes are Giro, and I got the same size in Shimano and they fit well. I had a pair of Specialzied S-works shoes that were about 4 years old, and they were a full size smaller than the Shimano and Giro (41.5 vs. 42.5). I think the Specialized shoes were a little on the small size for me, and the longer I've been riding I've tended to like a shoe with a little more room in the toe box, so actual sizing between Shimano and Specialized may be close.

I haven't tried the shoes in question, but he fit/shape between Shimano and Spec is pretty close. With width as the determining factor, I'm one size larger in Shimano (46) vs Spec (45).

I might have to try these Shimanos vs the lace-up Spec S-Works in the spring.

Shimano shoe sizing varies wildly from model to model so make comparisons with a grain of salt...

Are those dimples extra aero?

I actually like those shoes. 9.5/10 would wear if I could afford them.

Interesting. From current model-to-model or from discipline-to-discipline (road vs mtb, etc)?

Just placed the order a little while ago. Can't wait for them to come in.

I still haven't ridden mine yet, but I have a 44, which is what I wear in other brands, so the sizing seems to be true. Little bit more "fitted", but probably because these are $400 shoes, and are more finely tuned for a better fit.

The blue is unreal, they are more eye catching than fluorescent colors. Can't be wearing these soft pedaling around the neighborhood!

BTW, you can find these for under $350 from German websites...if you want to take a chance on size.

I'd buy those blue ones immediately if I were a little richer, and if I didn't already have Shimano shoes that I have no problem with.

When I last was looking at new shoes I tried them on at a couple of bike shops. One model would fit in a 46, another would require a half or full size (or two! ) up or down.

I was only looking at MTB shoes although I actually ended up getting a pair of Shimano spin shoes (FN51) that are easily the most comfortable bike shoes I have ever worn.

Too bad they have been discontinued...

Wondering if you have tried the shoes yet and what you think of them? My order is still waiting to be fulfilled and I'm getting a little antsy and wondering if they are worth the wait?
