That happens to me quite frequently. If I decide to HTFU and cook, I find that a snifter of bourbon helps.

Assembling my salad only takes a few minutes.

You toss your own salads?

There's plenty of options that only take a few minutes.

Also true.

Self-checkout at the grocery store, for instance.

If I'm making a salad for dinner, I need two snifters.

Ah yes, those were the good old days when we came to goof off and have fun as opposed to today where so many guys come to try to show everybody how smart they are with regard to riding a bicycle. Bicycle science. LOL

Nobody led the fun parade more than Pcad, which convinces me that his decline around here is a major factor in the forum's lack of humor. Just another example that nothing good lasts forever. /soapbox

I fell asleep last night. Have to wait until after the bell again.

Oxymoronic.

I can also understand that. This big fat Fatty McFatty doesn't have that luxury.

We still have Macster drive-by posts. So, we have that going for us.

Classic stalling tactic.

Always release bad news right before the weekend. Good tactic Velo Vol.

Starting to get annoyed about how little some of my accounting staff seems to actually understand accounting.

Dan333SP 01-13-17 10:16 AM

I rode outside last night and this morning, huzzah!

On the first leg of my ride last night I started to feel like maybe Zwift really isn't so far off when it gives me grossly inflated power numbers and average speeds.

Then I turned around into a headwind and realized why I felt so strong on the way out. Ugh. Damn you, Zwift, for making me forget what headwinds feel like. And what being nervous about after-dark auto traffic feels like when the only thing keeping you alive is a $20 blinky.

Seems like a lot of

The forum is still funny if you know where to look for it. Unless people dislike your humor and you get in trouble for having some fun.

Pacd's threads were always the best. A 5-page thread was a really slow day for him.

Velo Vol 01-13-17 11:29 AM

RIP Pcad.

Lunch from Pho Xua was outstanding. I had a big bowl of veg pho with fried tofu, along with a vietnamese vegetable spring roll with peanut sauce.
